Prospect Buddy

How to use Prospect Buddy
  1. Type the postal codes you farm above (the first three characters, like M9A). Your plan updates instantly.
  2. Each Monday, work the three actions in This week's plan: door-knock the hottest street, contact rebuild owners and builders, and mail new landlords about leasing.
  3. Tap a street to see each signal, then log what happened with the Log result menu next to the address.
  4. Check Your results to see which signals turn into conversations, appointments and listings.

Every signal is a real City of Toronto record: building permits, Committee of Adjustment applications and development applications. There are no owner names or phone numbers. Reach owners by door-knocking or mail. Your results stay on this device.

Scoring rules

Adjust the weights as you learn which signals turn into listings.

SignalSourceLikely meaningPlayPaybackWeight

Recency: full points within 30 days, 70% within 90 days, 40% after that. Quick wins mode multiplies fast-payback signals (houses finishing soon ×1.5, new rental units ×1.4, new house permits ×1.1). Weights come from a backtest of City records since 2017. Several signals on one address count once at full weight, plus a quarter for each extra signal, so a single rebuild doesn't swamp a street.

Optional. Accepts Building Permits (Active or Cleared), Committee of Adjustment and Development Applications CSVs from open.toronto.ca. Large files work best on a computer.
